Rotten Culture ...

Say something about the state of culture in Italy appears more than necessary, urgent, because it was reached so extreme limit flattening intellectual (in its most basic sense), to the point that the old nursery rhymes that singing by children, thirties today, are high in comparison poetic-literary forms. From books to magazines, from newspapers to television, the KITSCH has invaded everything, the bad taste of the products of mass culture now rule around us and everything is contaminated by it. But if a time Kitsch was still worthy of respect, that today is highly toxic. From politics, as practiced today in the courtyards where 'made them' (ie politicians) are at the mercy of all, the poor feminism forgotten, replaced by a new slogan: not the most staunch and dignified "witches son back!" But the comic and tragic "geese have increased." From the literature, and increasingly pseudo parodistica, the tv, considered by Woody Allen the most efficient tool for urban clearance, because, through its channels will be collecting all this rubbish in the streets. And it is literature that has to come to terms with who, throwing down two lines, is now defined contemporary writer, and narrators of simple stories or trivial adolescent diaries are considered sinful, the critical turn, the revelations of recent times or natural heirs of De Sade or other epigoni of a specific literary vein. We arrived at his coffee, rather than fruit, and if we reflect on politics, we realize that we do not make that move from a government that approves (if not encourages) tax evasion to an imposing strict taxation for the sidewalks on which we walk. What remains to be done at the end? Find ourselves in a square or a television broadcast and raise a Laughter and heartfelt hymn to our country: Italy W! Yes, because we can be proud of their own: with political VIPs, spaghetti, the gossip, competitions for beauty, calcium-fixing, gambling, high rates of unemployment and poverty, bad health, works of art in putrefaction, fees for 'nullatenenti' etc. etc. etc.
